Here is something I could never get thrilled about – DIY landscaping. Lol. But I have a friend who is fabulous at it. Amy researches and shops and reads about plants and plant placement and her home shows it. Little by little she plotted and planted all around her yard and the outcome is gorgeous. I’m embarrassed to say I don’t know a phlox from a philodendron but Amy can tell them just by their leaves! We had that very experience this past weekend at our other friend’s lakeside home. She was showing us how sad her flowers had gotten in the drought and as we gazed on a sad leafy straggler, Amy said “is that a phlox?” Indeed it was. 😀 Look for Amy’s landscaping tips and tricks here and if you have some of your own – please post below!
